The paintings, installations, sculptures, and photographs
selected for this exhibition were created over the last
four decades in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and
Calfornia. The participating artists represent the scope
of Mexican-American art from the Chicano movement
of the late 60s, through the present. Their gripping and
hearfelt images of life in the U.S. unveil a culture that
has been a part of America for over 400 years.
