The NMMA is delighted to have had the opportunity to present the idea of featuring an internationally acclaimed Mexican artist such as Yvonne Domenge in Millennium Park.

“The three-dimensional creations of Mexican artist, Yvonne Domenge, transport us to familiar universes. Her inspiration emerges from the smallest and simplest forms of nature, from seeds to the infinite cosmos. Domenge, through an internal voyage, liberally recreates whatever catches her eye. She reinvents the sphere in a myriad of possibilities. It is the form that never finishes. It is the beginning without an end or the end without a beginning. Her monumental sculptures incorporate the landscape seamlessly and are perceived as instruments for visual meditation.“
