Education at the NMMA

The NMMA offers education programs for everyone!

The National Museum of Mexican Art’s Education Department offers cultural, bilingual, arts-based programs, resources, events and learning experiences to students, educators, children, families, youth and adults with the goal of increasing knowledge, appreciation and integration of art and culture into their lives.

The NMMA’s Education Department believes that creating and learning through art is a transformative and accessible process that empowers children, youth, and adults to build a socially just and culturally responsive society.  Art affirms identity, builds confidence and self-esteem, and fosters critical thinking skills necessary to positively impact this ever-changing, multicultural world.
