This exhibition surveys the aesthetics created (from the 1980s to the present) in Chicago’s public space through a contemporary Mexican-American experience. It investigates graffi ti and street art as a social practice, focusing on agency, mobilization and identity formation.

Esta exposición analiza la estética que nace (desde los 80s hasta el presente) en los espacios públicos de Chicago a través de la experiencia mexicana-estadounidense. Investiga al graffi ti y al arte callejero como una práctica social, concentrada en el ejercicio del poder, la movilización, y la formación de identidad.
