Yollocalli Arts Reach

Yollocalli Arts Reach is an arts education and career-training program for youth between the ages of thirteen and twenty-one. Free art classes are held in Yollocalli's Pilsen Art Studio and in different satellite locations throughout the Chicago-land area. From Printmaking to Installation Art to Mural making, Yollocalli offers thought provoking, innovative, and diverse art classes for the creative growth, artistic knowledge, and empowerment of young artists. Internships

The National Museum of Mexican Art offers paid and non-paid internships to college students interested in the arts, museums, history, culture, and education. They can work in the Education Department as tour-guides, teachers, or teachers' aids. They can also work in the Graphic Arts, Permanent Collections, and Development Departments assisting with special projects.

Volunteer

During the summer, teenagers from different high schools volunteer to help with the different children's programs we offer. We also recruit about 125 volunteers for our annual Día del Niño (Day of the Child) celebration in April. High school students also drop in throughout the year to do community service as part of their graduation requirements. For more information on volunteer opportunities, please call 312-433-3950.
